Introduction

In the early 1990s, Electronic Arts established a new benchmark for isometric action-strategy games with the release of the "Strike" series. Following the massive commercial success of its predecessor, Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf, the developers returned in 1993 with a sequel that promised to be bigger, faster, and more varied. Titled Jungle Strike, the game was marketed in some regions with the descriptive subtitle Jungle Strike: The Sequel to Desert Strike. It successfully took the established formula of the first game and refined it, offering players a deeper tactical experience while pushing the hardware of the era to its limits. Whether you were a fan of military simulations or fast-paced arcade action, this title offered a compelling blend of both.
