100 Bullets for Nintendo DS plunges players into a dark narrative blending hard-boiled crime and a paranoid espionage thriller. The game centers on individuals who encounter Agent Graves, an enigmatic figure presenting them with a tempting offer: a briefcase containing evidence, a weapon, and complete immunity to exact revenge upon someone who has wronged them beyond repair. Drawing inspiration from Brian Azzarello's Veritgo comic, 100 Bullets features an original storyline crafted by Azzarello himself, along with two playable characters and fully interactive environments. This specific iteration of 100 Bullets was unfortunately canceled due to Acclaim's closure, but a new game inspired by 100 Bullets was later developed for release in 2007.
