The core objective is to successfully deliver your truck's cargo before time runs out. Players start with a specific time limit, but hitting special vans adds extra seconds. Several characters are available, each featuring a unique truck and skillset. The journey begins in Key West and spans across the USA, culminating in San Francisco. After the initial stage, players choose a trailer, balancing risk and reward: a harder-to-manage trailer offers a bigger payout, while an easier one yields less money. Damaging the trailer results in monetary penalties. Players can use the horn to yield the way from other vehicles, and drafting behind large vehicles grants temporary speed boosts. Adding to the challenge, players race against the "Lizard Tail," a competing trucker. Beating him to the finish line earns bonus cash. Between main levels, players can participate in a parking mini-game to increase their earnings.
