Action Bass for PlayStation reinvents fishing, typically a relaxing pastime, into an action-packed experience. Featuring four distinct game modes, Challenge mode tasks players with a three-minute time limit to catch a fish meeting the weight criteria to rank among the top three anglers. Progressing past the initial stage unlocks three further levels, with completion of all granting access to new lures and the Extra option. Free mode allows players to fish freely in the four areas available to hone their skills and discover the best spots for efficient fishing, preparing them for Challenge mode. Caught fish can be saved to the Aquarium, where they can be viewed from all angles.
