Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations is an upcoming action-adventure game crafted by Vicious Cycle Software, under license from Cartoon Network Interactive. Serving as the fourth installment inspired by the Adventure Time animated series, following The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom, it marks the series' debut into full 3D action-adventure gameplay. Players will have the opportunity to explore various locales within Land of Ooo, engage in conversations with characters, sharpen their puzzle-solving skills, battle adversaries, and generally enjoy themselves. Loosely drawing from the TV show's sixth season, the game emphasizes exploration, investigation, and puzzle-solving elements. After discovering a task-assigning machine called the 'tickertype,' Finn and Jake choose to emulate Finn and Jake's parents and become detectives. Finn's sword will also be put to use, enabling players to amass enemy loot within the Tree House treasure room.
